Henrik Schwabe is a senior economist at Menon Economics, specializing in socio-economic issues related to technology, market interventions, and welfare. With 15 years of experience in research, economic analysis, and consulting, he ensures precise and high-quality professional deliveries. Henrik brings a strong methodological background in quantitative, statistical, and qualitative analysis of economic data, surveys, and text-based big data to our projects. He has conducted evaluations, assessments, and socio-economic analyses across various sectors and industries, including welfare, maritime, education, and transportation. Henrik has also developed strategies for several public and private organizations, guiding clients through analytical and creative processes that lead to knowledge-based and future-oriented decisions. He holds a degree in business economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), San Diego State University, and BI Norwegian Business School. He also earned a PhD from the Center for Technology, Innovation, and Culture at the University of Oslo, where he also worked as a researcher. Additionally, Henrik is certified in foresight and scenario methodology from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, which he applies in projects where clients seek to identify and navigate emerging societal trends.
