Inga Eline Ørving Aasen is an analyst at Menon Economics, specialising in socio-economic analyses. She has played a key role in both smaller studies and larger assignments under the Norwegian State Project Model, providing her with solid familiarity with relevant circulars and the Instructions for Official Studies and reports (utredningsinstruksen). She has also contributed to method development in several projects, such as valuing reduced landslide risk in transport projects and analysing land-use changes resulting from infrastructure developments. Inga has a particular interest in issues related to climate and the environment. She has assisted governmental and municipal clients with assessments of measures and policy instruments, and the obligations they face. This includes calculations of emissions, emission reductions, and projections, alongside evaluations of criteria for meeting targets related to nature and climate. Inga holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Oslo, with a specialisation in socio-economic analysis and statistics.
