Kristoffer Midttømme

Kristoffer Midttømme is a partner at Menon Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics, specializing in strategic and game-theoretic challenges in climate and environmental policy, including aspects of competition economics. Through his doctoral research and several years as a senior lecturer in business economics at the University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Kristoffer has developed a deep understanding of the challenges arising from government interventions in markets, with a particular focus on firms' strategic responses and adaptations to regulations. With years of experience assisting clients, Kristoffer has demonstrated his ability to translate this expertise into relevant and practical analyses for both public and private sector clients. Kristoffer also has specialized expertise in socio-economic analysis. In addition to leading numerous analyses and serving as project manager for concept evaluations and quality assurance assignments for the Ministry of Finance, he has supported the Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management (DFØ) in developing the 2023 edition of the guide to socio-economic analysis and assisted Oslo Municipality in establishing principles and guidelines for cost-benefit analyses of major municipal investment projects. Kristoffer is an effective communicator, having honed this skill through years of teaching and lecturing experience.
