Lotte Leming Rognsås
Lotte Rognsås is a senior economist at Menon Economics, primarily working on issues related to the seafood sector, international trade, and industry policy analyses. She brings solid expertise in the seafood industry and has contributed to numerous projects for and about the sector, commissioned by ministries, industry organizations, the Norwegian Seafood Research Fund, and private companies.
Lotte has particular expertise in seafood trade, gained from her previous work at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries. At Menon, she has further expanded her knowledge by working on the seafood industry's value chain, economic ripple effects, and regulatory frameworks. She has significant experience in international trade, including her previous role in the Trade Policy Department of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries, where she worked on tariff barriers and participated in trade agreement negotiations. At Menon, she has conducted several analyses on international trade and Norwegian exports, including the Export Report and studies on Norway’s bilateral trade relations. Lotte also has extensive knowledge of support regulations for green business development, both in Norway and among key trading partners.
Lotte holds a business degree with a specialization in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). One of her greatest strengths is her ability to thoroughly understand complex issues. In her projects, she places great emphasis on maintaining strong communication with clients to ensure smooth project execution and the best possible solutions.
