Piotr Śpiewanowski is a senior economist at Menon Economics, specializing in socio-economic and industry analyses related to energy, climate, and commodity markets. With over 15 years of experience in research and economic analysis, he combines theoretical economic insights with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges. Piotr has led numerous projects for both private and public clients, conducting assessments on the economic value of electricity access, identifying market failures and designing policy interventions, evaluating the costs of renewable energy technologies, and performing market analyses to uncover barriers and growth opportunities. His expertise is also valuable in competition cases, where he applies his in-depth understanding of market dynamics. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute and a Master’s degree from the Warsaw School of Economics.
