The report Arctic business scenarios 2020 was compiled by Menon Business Economics on behalf of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association in connection with the Arctic Business Conference in Bodø from October 8-10 2014.

The report presents three scenarios for business opportunities in the Arctic 2020 with a special focus on the petroleum, mining, seafood and shipping sectors. The three scenarios are named “Oil in demand”, “Green transformation” and “Re-freeze”. The purpose of the scenarios is both to provide industry actors with the opportunity to plan for different potential future outcomes, but also to influence developments in the desired direction.
