Erika Karttinen has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a focus on game theory and political economy. In her master’s thesis she has analysed the effects of moderation on electoral outcomes in a multiparty setting.

Erika started working in Menon March 2020, and has a primary focus on projects within competition policy and regulatory analyses as well as within health economics. She has previous experience from competition analyses through work on several effects analyses in relation to mergers, questions regarding existence of predatory pricing and compatibility of investments with European state aid legislation. In addition to experiences working with different actors within the health care sector, Erika also has experience working with industries like transportation and telecommunications.

Erika has previous work experience from working for Copenhagen Economics in Stockholm.
