John Oskar holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and information technology and a master’s degree in Business Administration and Data Science from Copenhagen Business School. The bachelor’s degree has given him a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges that companies and organizations face within IT, considering the business and organizational aspects. The master’s degree has provided him with strong analytical skills and an understanding of relevant business data contexts.

In his master’s thesis, John Oskar tested and further developed a new Norwegian language model. In the thesis, he tested the model’s language capabilities against already existing models, as well as further developed the model into an instruction-following language model. Finally, the capabilities of the further developed model were tested in various potential tasks. The research on the subject gave him extensive knowledge in language processing, machine learning, and their potential applications for businesses and organizations.

John Oskar plays a central role at Menon with his background in economics, information technology, and data science, focusing on data management, programming, and working with big data in an economical context. His work contributes to creating new insights and providing recommendations to organizations backed by data.
