Maren has been working at Menon since January 2018. She holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Oslo, as well as a master’s degree in international business from EAE Business School in Barcelona. Parts of these degrees were conducted at American University in Washington DC and at the University of Copenhagen. Maren has also worked for a year at the Norwegian Embassy in Maputo, Mozambique.

Maren is an expert in the maritime industry and leads Menon’s maritime work. She has profound insight into the structure and economics of the industry and plays a pivotal role in the industry analyses conducted by the company. Maren is also the project manager for the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association’s Maritime Trainee program. In addition, Maren has worked on analyses related to the green transition and industrial development, particularly related to industries such as offshore wind and the oil and gas industry.
