Piotr Śpiewanowski is an economist with a PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy (2014), a master’s degree from the EUI and one from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Piotr joined Menon in 2022 and is an experienced researcher, project manager and consultant. He has worked on economic analyses on a wide range of topics with a main focus on energy markets, regulation, competition, climate policy and investments. Piotr also has extensive international experience. He has previously worked in the UK, Italy, Poland, Germany and Belgium in academia and the private sector. His research on industrial organisation, commodity markets and climate policy has been published in leading economic journals such as the American Journal of Agricultural Economics.
